Indiba / Tecar Therapy

INDIBA radiofrequency therapy works at 448 kHz and is widely used by elite football clubs and professional athletes to speed up recovery from injury, prevent re-injury and improve performance.
Teams and athletes using INDIBA
INDIBA reports that its technology is used by:
- FC Barcelona: players such as Ferran Torres and Marc-André ter Stegen, for muscle and tendon injuries.
- Clubs: Aston Villa, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United and West Ham, as a daily part of their rehabilitation protocols.
- Footballers: Andrés Iniesta and Neymar Jr., for injury recovery and performance.
- Athletes beyond football: Rafael Nadal, Chris Froome, Iga Świątek and Kirk Cousins.
Closer to home, Ranjuo Tomblin, Team GB artistic swimmer and World Championship medallist, also relies on INDIBA.
Benefits for performance
According to INDIBA:
- Increased blood flow: it increases microcirculation by 79%, delivering the nutrients needed for recovery.
- Faster tissue healing: it can be used in the acute phase of an injury to reduce swelling and pain, without heat.
- Restored strength: it improves the elasticity of tendons and muscles, supporting mobility and injury prevention.

Who should not have INDIBA?
INDIBA / Tecar therapy is not suitable for everyone: it should not be used during pregnancy, or if you have a pacemaker, a tumour, or reduced sensation in the area to be treated (for example, because of diabetes).
INDIBA fascia electrodes and Graston technique
We also use INDIBA fascia electrodes and the Graston technique to support our manual physiotherapy work on myofascial restrictions, both in large muscle groups and in more localised areas, for example in back pain, plantar fasciitis, sprains and lumbago. More about INDIBA fascia electrodes.
